Technology and Workflow
SWIFT Teleradiology platform applies the latest developments in PACS and digital radiology technology to its business practices. It is affordable and caters to customers needs. We also developed our integrated SWIFT RIS system that is fully web-based to server our client around the world.
Patient study is sent from customer facilities via internet and a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Upon receipt, the SWIFT radiologist reads the study and produces a diagnostic report. The patient data and report are sent back to the originating imaging clinic/hospital via our RIS system or into your system, and if the evaluation requires immediate attention, the local physician may be contacted to discuss the findings. |

Speedy installation of SWIFT system
During implementation, SWIFT personnel works closely with imaging clinic/hospital staff to define and implement the network technology that is optimal for the teleradiology site. The basic technology and personnel include:
- RIS/PACS software and hardware to compress DICOM images and transfer images in the DICOM lossless format. If the imaging clinic/ hospital are currently using your type of software, the cost of integration will be very affordable.
- Internet connection to transport images to the reading centers.
- An experience person (Technical person) from the radiology group will also help to expedite the implementation process
